Lead Acid Batteries

Batteries are purchased in two grades – Lead-Acid Batteries and Industrial Batteries. The main difference is that industrial batteries are often bigger in size and have a steel case on them. Batteries should not be leaking. They should not be leaking because the terminals and plates in the battery are lead based which will react with the acid inside.
